I have actually addressed your points line by line. You have not, as below.

>Edit: OK, so I am going to address some things after all — I drive the safest car in it’s class, which simultaneously has faster zero-60 times than anything that isn’t a race car, even though it’s a big, heavy cross-over.

None of this has anything to do with the point of the article. You’re just repeating marketing points, including the video below.

>My support for the assertion that US carmakers have been limping along in innovation is that there has been no new major features from them in the past 30 years. My Tesla does a whole slew of things that no other car does. It’s head and shoulders above any other EV. Every couple of months I get a “brand new car” because I get pushed the latest tech and upgrades.

Again, none of this is the point of the article. I am at this point certain you have not read the article. Gimmick features are considered innovation I suppose.

>Complaining that they are making use of tech that they didn’t invent or isn’t brand new is specious.

Again, not the point of the article. You claimed that it was unseen or a breakthrough, so I am only setting the record straight.

>It has no bearing on outcomes and is quite often the way new products come to market (the lightbulb, for instance) — it’s simply spiteful sniping. Tesla (and Space X) are revolutionizing our world and that’s what counts. It takes time to get new inventions to be produced profitably because there are so many front load costs (Duh!).

You’re foaming at the mouth and not addressing any of the points in the articles, or in my comments.

>Why don’t you go create something that improves the world rather than simply whining about someone else who is.

Do you have criticisms about your senator? Or your president? Or any power system? Well be sure to become president before expressing critique.

Again, anyone with a rational mind is going to read your responses and see how you’re making my point better than I did in my article. So thank you for that.
